Team Roping This Weekend In Andrews

If you are looking for something to do this weekend head over Andrews. This weekend at the ACE Arena in Andrews you can't take the entire family out to the XIT Team Roping and Horse Sale.

The teaming roping will be Saturday night beginning at 7pm, everyone is welcome to come out and watch. Tickets will be available at the door. Sign ups to participate will begin at 6pm.

The horse sale will also take place on Saturday. The sale preview will begin at 10am and the sale will begin at noon. Online line bidding will also be available.

Rodeo is a something you can take the entire family out to enjoy. Rodeo is an American Heritage. I admire the talents of every member of the rodeo community. I had friends in college that were barrel racers and I always wished I could do it to. I was never great at riding horses but always want to and of course my family couldn't afford to buy me a horse. Even here recently I was considering taking riding lessons but I had to have back surgery and that put the squash on that.

I would love to live the cowboy/cowboy girl life style. What is your favorite rodeo sport. I know most people say bull riding but I want to know what is your favorite part of rodeo. It is certainly not cheap to live the cowboy life style. And there is nothing hotter than a cowboy in a good pair of jeans. LOL  Remember if you get a cowboy's hat you get to take him. LOL
