Josh Abbott Band Is Saying Good Bye

Josh Abbott Band just announced on social media that they were hanging up there hats. According to their post on social media:

Sometimes you gotta know when the ride is over. It’s with a heavy heart that we announce we’ve decided to close this chapter of our lives. I realize what today is, but it was time to let it out. To all of you that have supported us over the years, we can’t thank you enough. Gonna miss being on that stage but not as much as I miss my family when I’m gone. We’ve got a few shows left if you want to catch us one last time. What a ride it’s been!

Now, keep in mind it is April Fool's Day, I can't confirm that this is not a joke. It very well could be and it very well be the truth. You never know celebrities are often known to pull pranks.  Obviously, fans are are really hoping this is not true. One post even said surely he is not kidding since he included his family in the post.

I know fans would definitely would definitely be very sad if it is true. Josh has been on the Texas Music scene for quite some time.

Josh Abbott who was raised in Idalou, Tx  decided to go to Texas Tech and at Tech started playin his guitar with friends. He would play around the school and town and ended up at The Blue Light. The Blue Light is were quite a few other Texas Music artist got their start. People like Pat Green, Wade Bowen, William Clark Green and more.

Let's just hope this is jut an April Fool's joke.
