I Called Out My Parents on Facebook
How much drama do we see on Facebook all the time? How many times have we said keep your dirty laundry off Facebook/ Social Media? Why on earth would someone post that on Facebook. We have all said it these things at some point and time about people. Well I have to admit I am guilty of this. I actually called out my parents on Facebook last weekend. Yes, you read that right, I called out my parents on social media.
I came across a meme with a picture of a four way pin, if you don't know what they are google them, and it said kid's these days want a thousand dollar iPhone and all I wanted as a kid was one of these. So I posted the meme on Facebook with the caption, I am almost 40 and my parents still haven't gotten me one.
Kid's these days get everything, whenever and where they want it. If kid's had to live the way we did back then, they wouldn't know what to do. There were a few things I didn't think I was ever going to get and somethings I never got. For example, I always wanted a trapper keeper and it wasn't until I think junior high that I finally got one. If things were considered expensive or something that we could cheaper somewhere else, we did! We weren't allowed to have extra's except for Christmas and birthdays or if we had made good grades.
Well, after I called them out on Facebook for not ever buying me a four way pin, that afternoon my parents showed up at my house with one. Not just a a regular four way pin but the 50th anniversary one with purple ink as one of the colors. They avenged themselves very quickly.
