The Great Debate: Sausage vs Bacon

Once again, you know which way I am going, sausage all the way. You all know I don't like bacon at all. I don't like the taste of it, the smell of it or anything cooked in bacon grease.

I'm not a fan of most types of pork in general but I do like sausage. I don't eat ribs and I don't really like ham. If I have a choice of turkey or ham for sandwich, it's always turkey. I don't like holiday ham at all. I will eat a piece to make my grandma happy but other wise I am not.

I like breakfast sausage and summer sausage. I like sausage gravy, sausage and biscuit, or sausage and eggs.

I also like summer sausage, like the kind that you get at Hickory Farms during Christmas. You know the kind that you can just slice and eat by the slices.

I also like salami and pepperoni. I love me an Italian sub.

Another thing that I love and have been eating since I was a kid is sausage balls. Mom or myself don't make them often anymore, usually just around the holidays. If you have never had them they are so easy to make. All you need is breakfast sausage, cheese, bisquick, and that's it. roll the mix into a ball and put them in the oven for a few minutes and your done. They also make great additions to parties.

If you really want to know the truth about me and sausage is I actually prefer turkey sausage if I can get it.
