The Great Debate: Mac & Cheese or Spaghetti O’s–Gunner

Every morning at 8:10am, Gwen and I face-off on a new topic, and we're always on opposite sides. The question is--who's side are YOU on? Could be about anything--so far it's been about things like Favorite Chips and whether or not they belong on a sandwich, Whether or not Pets belong in Bed with you at night, and so much more! Today's Great Debate: Gwen's mac and Cheese, Or Gunner's Spaghetti O's... When I was a little kid, my mom's constant go-to was Mac and Cheese--and I grew to dislike it VERY much! Seemed like any time my parents worked late, or had something to go to on a weeknight after work hours--I was sat down in front of a bowl of Mac and Cheese. On weekends for lunch, too. I couldn't escape it. And it wasn't home made, either, We're talking Kraft right out of the box Mac and Cheese. So no tasty home concoction whipped up by my parents--just the instant.

I swore as an adult I would never touch the stuff ever again--and I HAVEN'T. So--after moving out when I hit 18--I needed a different go-to for when I wanted a tasty, hot meal on the fly... Enter--Spaghetti O's. Gotta have the ones with meatballs too--not just the pasta! Of course you can add oyster crackers too and make it even better! I know there are a lot of Mac and Cheese fans out there and I also know there are a lot of original recipes that you can whip up to make it even more interesting. But for me, it'll always take me back to childhood and being made to sit at the table. No thanks!
