I am a huge fan of Mason Lively. I first heard him when he opened for one of the acts at the ball park and then again at Rockin Rodeo. You guys really need to give him a listen. We are going to have a chance for you to win tickets all week long here at LoneStar923.
Mason is from Victoria, Texas, but raised just outside of town in the rural community of Inez, Mason Lively grew up in a country music atmosphere. His appreciation for the genre can be traced back to his childhood. Though he enjoyed and was exposed to many types of music, he would listen to artists like Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and Ray Price to name a few. Growing up, while also being influenced by Blues and Classic Rock, Mason started to take interest and study the songwriting of artists from his home state’s music scene like Robert Earl Keen, Pat Green, Hayes Carll, and many more. As a result, when he started playing guitar at age 14, Mason claims that song-writing "sort of snuck up on him" not long after that. Mason Lively
Marty Inge is a hometown boy from right here in Midland. Marty Inge is an up and coming Texas Music artist from West Texas. He grew up in Midland, Tx loving country music and finding comfort in the sound. Through grade school and high school he taught himself how to play the guitar and played for his church youth band on Wednesday nights. It took sometime for Marty to develop a voice, but once he could hold something of a pitch he wrote his first song. Marty started playing music less as a hobby and more as an art during the summer of 2018. Showcasing his first single ‘Falling Faster’ for the first time at Cheatham Street Warehouse on a Wednesday night. From that moment on Marty became determined to be apart of country music history.
