Great Debate–Tea Sweetened or Unsweetened?
Every morning at 8:10am, Gwen and I face-off on a new topic, and we're always on opposite sides. The question is--who's side are YOU on? Could be about anything--so far it's been about things like Favorite Chips and whether or not they belong on a sandwich, Whether or not Pets belong in Bed with you at night, and so much more! Sound off in the comments section below and tell us YOUR opinion, and who you think presented their side of the argument the best.
Today--it's all about Iced Tea--sweetened or unsweetened? For me--neither. It has to be an Arnie Palmer. Not a fan at all of tea solo. And even though it's technically half lemonade and half tea--I always call it TEA. It's MY version of tea. When I was a kid growing up in Chicago, my Grandmother lived with us--and she would always make the kids a pitcher of tea while we were outside playing in the summer (back when kids still went outside to play in the summer) and every time I'd drink it--it left an odd "dry" taste in my mouth. I didn't like it. Then I discovered other options.
For the longest time, I'd only drink Kool Aid--and if Grandma would make her pitcher--I'd run to the kitchen and grab a glass of Tropical Punch Kool Aid because I didn't like it. I knew even back then that I wasn't in the majority--as all my friends that were always out on the block would drink down Grandma's tea. I was the only one who didn't like it. So it won't surprise me if I lose this debate today based on that experience. Chime in in the comments and let us know what YOU think!
