There is probably not one person who didn't talk to someone about what happened in Washington yesterday. Here is my take on the actions of the American people.

First and foremost I believe that the people in Washington had every right as Americans to stand up for what they believe in, that is a right and freedom given to every American. But their actions to disobey authorities and police officers were not right. Just like I believe the actions of some over the past several months fighting for what they believe in were not right.

Some are saying did they destroy anything, no. Was anything vandalized, not so much. But what did happen is the position of authority was disrespected. Politically do I agree with what was approved, no. But it is my job as an American to  respect and pray for the people that have been elected, legally or not. Twelve years ago I did not want the man that was elected and did not want him back when he was elected four years later. But what I didn't do was destroy anything or burn any buildings down. I prayed for our nation and the people in office. I will do the same for the next for years.

Am I worried about where this country is headed, yes, any many felt the same way four years ago when Donald Trump was elected. So here is what I will do. I will put my faith in God and pray for those who are in the position of authority because that is what God has called me to do.

Don't get me wrong, I will stand up for what I believe in and fight for what I believe in but I will not do that in a way that will harm others.

I stand on what I have always been taught and what I have learned from the Lord. He promised He would never leave us or forsake us and He would never turn from His children.

If you don't agree with me, that's ok. You are entitled to feel the way you feel, and I will never disrespect you for that. But if you ask me might thoughts on this situation, I will tell you, I think it's an all out mess and God is the only one who can fix this.

My Grandma has always said when birds do what birds are supposed to do God will take care of birds, so I am going to do my best to do what I am supposed to do.

If you disagree with someone that's ok, just BE NICE!
