The time has come and the fun is finally here. Solstice Live is this Saturday downtown Odessa. This will be an event for the entire family to come out and enjoy the day together with live music, food trucks, water slides, bounce houses and more.

Maega Music presents Solstice live this Saturday, July 24th down town Odessa. Gates will open at noon and music will start at 1:30 with The Band Big Spring. Other bands playing through out the day are the Caleb Young Band, Matt Castillo, Shooter Jennings and A Thousand Horses.

When I tell you it will be a day for the entire family, it truly is. There will things everyone can have fun doing. There will be jumpers for the kids, waterslides and a dunking booth. There will also be things for the older guests as well like kick pool and axe throwing. You can't have a great event without food. There will be multiple food trucks/vendors on hand.

It is so nice that live music and events are returning to downtown Odessa. This will be an event for the entire family.

Live music includes five very different but great bands. A Thousands Horses, who are best known for their song, "Smoke." Shooter Jennings, who is the son of the legendary Waylon Jennings. He is best known for his song "4th of July." Matt Castillo a south Texas native, who is quickly becoming a Texas Music favorite. And the last two are great West Texas folk. Caleb Young Band and The Band Big Spring all come from right here in the Permian Basin.
