So this week--we will feature not one, but TWO Pet's Of The Week from the Lonestar Sanctuary For Animals! Of course our Pet of the Week is ALWAYS brought to you by The Barking Lot of Midland!

Meet Bonnet! Bonnet is a 2 year old pug mix. She is a very sweet girl with a high energy level. She needs a companion to keep her company when her humans are not around. She is good with kids but can not go home with cats. She is house trained.

Come see her today at the Lone Star Sanctuary for Animals--4200 Fairgrounds Road in Midland!

And.....

Meet Chewy a staff favorite!

He is about 3 and a half years old. He has been at the Sanctuary for almost two years. When Chewy first came to the shelter he was diabetic but has since gone into remission. He no longer requires insulin but could need it later on if it comes back. Chewy is playful and goofy and extremely proud of his floofy and luxurious tail! He gets along with other cats and doesn't mind dogs. He hasn't been around many children but is very sweet and most likely would do well with them. Chewy loves to play with toys and the hair of staff members.
He is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. Chewy loves sleeping in sunny windows or in your lap. He has such a sweet and
goofy personality and at the right angle looks like Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon; who also had a sweet and goofy personality ! He would be a great cat for a family or a single person. Chewy does prefer to have a female cat friend but will make friends with just about anyone. He and our previous Pet of The Week, Abby, are best friends at the Sanctuary now and he has a history of bonding quickly with the cats in the shelter. Come to Lonestar Sanctuary For Animals and meet sweet Chewy! You won’t want to go home without Him!
