Every Wednesday at 9:10am, Gwen and Gunner feature a different pet that needs a new forever home here in the Basin. Sometimes it's a dog, sometimes it's a cat. They haven't had any guinea pigs, hamsters, birds or snakes---yet. But you never know!

Meet Annie!

She is our female 2 year old Heeler Mix!  Annie is spayed and up to date with her vaccines.  Annie has lots of fun energy and loves to play!  She is shy when meeting new people but has come out of her shell more since she has been here.  She needs a high energy dog to be her play buddy!  Annie isn't recommended for children under 10 as she can be a bit mouthy and plays a little rough.  Due to her high energy, she also needs a fenced in yard. Annie came to our shelter as an owner surrender with her brother Pistol.  Annie and Pistol are not a bonded pair and don't need to be adopted together, but we believe that Annie would do best with another dog.  If you are interested in meeting Annie, come see her during our visiting hours of 1-4:30 everyday except Thursdays.

And if for some reason you're not looking for a pet right now--please click SHARE and post this to your social media so we can help Annie find her forever home. Or perhaps you're looking for a different new furry friend. There are so many fur babies who would love to meet you-so stop by and pay them a visit! There are plenty of dogs and cats to choose from who would love to be your next family member.

The Lonestar Sanctuary For Animals can always use supplies as well so if you can, stop by and drop off a donation to help the staff care for the shelter animals til they can find their forever homes. Needed right now:
