Since September is right around the corner, I thought it would be nice to revisit history. World War II began on September 1st, 1939, and ended on September 2nd, 1945. How would you like to revisit history by staying at the majestic WWII Hanger Hotel and Museum in Fredericksburg Texas?

If you've ever wanted to know what it was like during that era, the Hanger Hotel and Museum appears to have stopped updating itself in the 40s. Revisit history and see the airplanes that helped America win in World War II, you can also try on some of the popular clothing that was in fashion in the 40s.

LOOK: This is an Amazing Historical World War II Hanger Hotel and Museum

When you pull up to the Hangar Hotel you can see right away it's modeled after a military hanger of the 1940s. Plus you will be able to see the many different aircraft that were soaring through the skies back then.

When you first walk into the Hangar Hotel you notice the majestic dark mahogany wooden concierge desk complemented by leather chairs, much like which my grandparents had in their living room. When you walk into your room you will feel like as if you've just entered the past. Take notice of the simple dark mahogany wooden nightstand and antique bronze lamp with a huge lamp shade and the princess-style rotary telephone.

The decorations on the walls all feature antique photography of the airplanes that fought the war. Furthermore, the history lesson continues throughout the Hanger Hotels' World War II Museum. The stunning Hanger Hotel Museum can support large weddings, conventions, business or civic meetings, or just a weekend getaway for the family.

The Hanger Hotel also has a stunning diner bar that's decorated to fit the timeframe. The video below allows you to revisit and relive the history that was World War II at the Hangar Hotel and Museum in Fredericksburg TX.
