The Basin Burnout is August 19th. BBQ, bands and baseball

When I first heard of the "Basin Burnout", I thought it was maybe a car race.

The Basin Burnout, as I found out, is a BBQ cook off, Bands, and wraps up with Rockhounds baseball with fireworks after.  Proceeds benefit "Reel Thanx" and "Hunt for heroes".  It's August 19th from noon-8 at Security Bank ballpark.  More info is at basin burnout dot com
