Friday evening Lonestar 923 completed our 24th Annual LoneStar 923 Country Cares for St. Jude Kid's Radiothon. With your help we raised over $78,000.

We could not have done this without our amazing listeners, especially in these crazy times. I want to tell you how awesome you are. Most of the radiothons hosted by country music stations all over the United States were down about 50%. Because of your generosity we were right on target, and we can't say thank you enough.

Over the past 24 years you guys have helped us raise over 2 million dollars for the kids at St. Jude.

St. Jude was built on the mission of " No child should die in the dawn of life." Danny Thomas.  Founder Danny Thomas also vowed that no child would be turned away for the inability to pay. No patient or family ever receives a bill for housing, travel, treatment, or food.  Another amazing thing about St. Jude is once you are a St. Jude patient, you are a patient for life.

If you ever get the chance to walk the halls at St. Jude, you will quickly realize this is no ordinary hospital. This hospital is full of hope and healing. The walls are painted with bright murals, the court yard that patients see out side their rooms is a beautiful park land scape made with sequins so they sparkle in the sun, one of the waiting rooms makes you feel like you are in an aquarium.

St. Jude goes above and beyond to provide hope and comfort for families how are in their darkest hours.
