NASA is hiring a “Planetary Protection Officer”

NASA has a six figure job opening.  The job is listed as "Planetary Protection Officer"

I found this story on msn.com..  The job with NASA as I interpret it, is you would basically be a lab rat or Guinea Pig.  Voluntary expose yourself to germs, etc...in outer space.  I wouldn't do it for $1,000,000.  You would be pretty isolated out on a space journey to who knows where and exposed to something there isn't a cure for an could be like some flesh eating Ebola virus.
