Treasure hunting has taken several lives

This is the first I heard of this.  I am not sure if it's an urban legend or not?  Supposedly hidden treasure.  According to Msn.com

The treasure supposedly hidden somewhere in the Rocky Mountains?  That's a lot of area to cover.  3000 miles.

I guess you could search for the treasure as sort of a fun adventure?  People have died for less
