Kacey Musgraves is currently on the road with Harry Styles as part of the former One Direction star's Live on Tour run. Fittingly, the country singer has decided to mix in another pop boy band's hit into her set — Musgraves has been covering 'N Sync's "Tearin' Up My Heart" on several tour stops.

While the 1998 pop hit is a certified club banger, Musgraves strips the song down as she puts her unique interpretation on "Tearin' Up My Heart." During a stop in Dallas on June 5, Musgraves converted the pop track into a heartbreaking ballad, singing of not being able to live without her lover with twang.

10 Country Hits You Probably Didn't Know Are Cover Songs

Distinct production transforms the pop hit to a memorable disco-inspired country song with ear-grabbing percussion and futuristic keyboard accompaniment from her band. All the while, Musgraves' ethereal vocals are showcased as she sings the slowed down '90s hit. Towards the song's end, she points her microphone at the audience who oblige and sing along.

As heard in the video above, screams from the crowd indicate that the audience wholeheartedly approves.

Musgraves will be on the road for the majority of 2018. The "Space Cowboy" singer wrapped a trek with Little Big Town in April and will be touring with Styles for most of the summer. In October, she'll kick off her own Oh, What a World Tour in Europe. The country singer released her critically-acclaimed Golden Hour album in March. The project showcases her versatility and love of many genres of music.

In her own words: "I love country and I would never want to totally ditch that but my new music incorporates a whole new sound in my own way."
