A recent holiday season analysis revealed that Midland ranks #1 in the country for treating pets to festive toys, treats, and accessories, highlighting just how deeply animals are woven into family life across the Permian Basin.

Surveys show that more than 90% of pet owners plan to include their pets in holiday festivities, and 79% consider their animals true family members.

Those numbers help explain why stockings for dogs and cats have become just as common as stockings for the kids, and why families are increasingly budgeting for pet gifts right alongside everything else on the holiday shopping list.
Pet industry experts say this enthusiasm reflects the emotional support pets provide year-round.
