Mac's Music Fest has become a downtown tradition. Mac's Music Fest brings and fun-filled family event to downtown Midland. The event happens tomorrow, Saturday,  May 13th in downtown Midland and feature country music supergroup Midland with special guests the Josh Abbott Band benefitting JAB Cares and Buckner Midland.

You are going to want to get there early. This won't be a normal show where the headline band goes on at 10 pm. Music starts at 3:45 pm. Tickets are still available and will be available at the gate.

Midland is headed to Midland, Saturday, May 13th downtown Midland. This is an all-ages event and everyone is invited to attend. The day will be filled with food, fun for the entire family, and live music. Also returning this year is the cornhole tournament.

The band Midland, who hails from Dripping Springs is known for smash hits like "Drinkin Problem" and "Burn Out."  The band's current single is "Longneck Way To Go," a collaboration with Jon Pardi.

Joining Midland on the bill is special guest the Josh Abbott Band, who needs no introduction. The Josh Abbott Band has been a staple of Mac's Music Fest since the beginning. Lead singer and founder of the Josh Abbott Band go all the back to the very beginning of Mac's BBQ. Josh and the owner of Mac's have known each other since their college days at Texas Tech University.

This event is NOT BYOB but beverages and food will be available for sale. You may also bring your own lawn chairs and blankets, as seating is not provided. An umbrella or rain poncho might be something you might want to bring with you since rain is in the forecast.
