With the 2021 season not even out of the rearview mirror sights yet, the Dallas Cowboys are involved in a scandal against a senior executive of the team.

According to ESPN, the Cowboys paid a confidential settlement of over $2.4 million to four members of the cheerleading squad saying that Senior Executive Richard Dalrymple stood behind a partial wall in the cheerleader locker room with his iPhone extended toward them while they were changing clothes.

Dalrymple was also accused by a superfan of taking "upskirt" pics of Charlotte Jones Anderson, Senior Vice President and daughter of owner Jerry Jones, in the war room during the 2015 NFL Draft which the fan was watching on a live stream and saw the alleged incident.

Dalrymple released a statement saying, "People who know me, co-workers, the media and colleagues, know who I am and what I'm about. I understand the very serious nature of these claims and do not take them lightly. The accusations are, however, false. One was accidental and the other simply did not happen. Everything that was alleged was thoroughly investigated years ago, and I cooperated fully."

A representative of the Cowboys stated the team "thoroughly investigated" both incidents and found no evidence that Dalrymple took any photos but they do not dispute that he used his security key card to get into the cheerleaders' locker room while they were changing clothes.

"The organization took these allegations extremely seriously and moved immediately to thoroughly investigate this matter," said Jim Wilkinson, communications consultant for the team. "The investigation was handled consistent with best legal and HR practices and the investigation found no evidence of wrongdoing."

This story I am sure will have more coming out before the kickoff of the 2022 season.
