A few days after the "Field of Dreams" game, NFL Network analyst Peter Schrager handed Roger Goddell an amazing idea, especially for us right here in the Permian Basin.

Could Ratliff Stadium become the "Field of Dreams" for an NFL game? Scharger's idea of the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Chiefs playing on a Friday night at Ratliff Stadium is one of the most amazing things I have ever heard. As everyone knows we are the home of "Friday Night Lights." When you meet someone and they ask you where you are from and you say Midland/Odessa, nine times out of ten they say isn't that where "Friday Night Lights" is from.  Permian High School was made iconic from Friday Night Lights.

I am telling you right now, if that were to happen, it would be so amazing. The only bad part is the stadium will only hold about 20,000  and ton of those seats would probably go to Dallas season ticket holders.  Let's keep our fingers crossed and hopefully it will happen. If it will get Jerry Jones more press and make him more money some how, you know he's down for it.
