Alpine ISD To Require Clear Backpacks

Alpine ISD will now require students of all ages and grades to carry a clear or white mesh backpack.

According to a statement on the Alpine ISD Facebook page all students must carry a see through backpack.

This is all for school safety measures and school security. My question to you is do think this will help. I think if they really wanted to be proactive they should install metal detectors.
