Let me start out by saying, "Ye without sin, cast the first stone."  So many people seem to be in an uproar about Simone Biles withdrawing from  first  the team gymnastics competition at the Olympics and now the individual competition as well, siting health reasons.

Many have come to her defense and many have criticized her publicly. Her own teams mates have shown much support for her after decision to withdraw from the team competition. In fact they even said they were trying to win for her.  Former MMA Fighter Ronda Rousey, who has dealt with mental health issues of her own quickly came to Simone Biles defense with the following tweet :

"Everyone judging @Simone_Biles doesn’t know their foot from their a--hole when it comes to being in her position. She’s on the Olympic team while you’re on Twitter. Whatever is going on cannot be grasped from outside. She’s doing the absolute best she can given the situation she’s in,"  Fox News

On the other side of the fence Texas Deputy Attorney General for Legal Strategy said some horrible things about her:

Reitz, the state's Deputy Attorney General for Legal Strategy, posted a tweet on Tuesday evening that showed U.S. gymnast Kerri Strug famously performing her vault in the 1996 Olympics despite an ankle injury. Reitz tweeted, "Contrast this with our selfish, childish national embarrassment, Simone Biles."  MRT

Who are we to judge the state of mind someone is in? If Simone Biles is not in the right head space when she is competing it could be deadly for her. She could miss calculate a move and could seriously injure herself. Does it suck that all of this happened at the Olympics, yes. But, guess what she is human.

This is why so many people take their own lives. So many people want to kick others while they are down, instead of helping them up.  You have know what it feels like to be the best gymnast of all time and everyone starting at you waiting for you to win it all again.  If you have never been in that situation don't judge her decision.

If more people would try lifting each other up then tearing each other down, this world would be a lot better place.
