Water Restrictions Back In Place

Even though we got some rain, the water restrictions are back in place. Actually called the Drought Contingency Plan, the City of Midland is back to actively conserve water.

As of right now the City Of Midland is Phase 2 of the Drought Contingency Plan which means, you could be fined up to $500 for breaking the rules.  This also includes the reduction in watering of public landscaped areas. This also means you will have to follow the rules on watering your yards.

In Midland if you live at an even number address you can water on Saturdays and Wednesdays. If you live at an odd numbered address you can water on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Odessa residents are not currently under any contingency plan.
