I know there were many people who voted early here in the Midland-Odessa area, and some who also took advantage of curbside voting as well... I have to say that in all my years of participating in the election process--this year was THE easiest by far when it comes to finding a nearby polling place, and standing in line. I went in Midland right after lunch time and I was the second person in line after walking thru the door at Fellowship Community Church on Midland Drive.

They had a great set-up there too--offering everyone who voted there a sack lunch to take with you after you voted! I also really like the touch screens instead of the typical paper ballots the size of a newspaper... The entire experience was great and I was in and out in 10 minutes. I hope you had a similar experience if you voted yesterday. There's just something about doing it 'day-of' instead of in advance that feels better to me-but to each their own.

Now it's looking like with all the counting left to do--it could be a day or two before we have any definitive answer as to who our leader is come January. No matter which side of the aisle you fall on--here's hoping that no matter what happens--we can all come together and love and support one another going forward.
