The NFL Honors Local High Schools
In honor of Super Bowl 50, the NFL is honoring local high schools with golden footballs for every player from that high school that has played in a Super Bowl.
A few of our local high schools were honored with these golden footballs. Midland Lee received three of them:
- Keith Bishop who played for the Denver Broncos and appeared in Super Bowls XXI, XXII, and XXIV.
- Ryan Tucker who played for the St. Louis Rams and appeared in Super Bowls XXXIV and XXXVI.
- Cedric Benson who played for the Chicago Bears and appeared in Super Bowl XLI.
Odessa High:
Marcus Cannon who played for the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX
Congratulations to all of our area high schools on producing such great talent!
