What's in a name? A name defines things, whether it's a person, place or thing. And strong names can leave an impression upon the person hearing it for the very first time. So can weaker names. The science teacher didn't want frogs brought to school and banned them from the premises-so they named the town after his wishes.

4. LAZBUDDIE TEXAS

It got its name by combining the nicknames of two people who lived there; it's not named after someone's last friend.

Sounds like a place you could score some illegal substances. But no, it's just a little town with an odd name.

2. BUG TUSSLE TEXAS

Word is that there was a swarm of some kind of bug that ruined a church service in town so they named the town after a bug fight.
