If you're a super fan of "Game of Thrones" and you're looking for new home, how about Winterfell? No, not the fictional show's setting, but the street?

A new developing neighborhood in Hausman has decided to take their love of the dragon infested show and name some of their streets after the hit HBO show! Now, the houses don't look like they're part of Winterfell- but the homes do look nice.

The developing neighborhood is called Archer Oaks and four of their streets are named:

  • Westeros Path
  • Winterfell
  • Arya Way
  • Needle Creek

I've never seen "Game of Thrones" (Gasp! I know) but I saw the recaps for when we did our dead pool on the Morning Show. Now, Arya Way and Winterfell are names I recognize.

Westeros is another name I understand.

However, this one, Needle Creek, is one that I didn't understand right away. Upon doing some research, I found out that "Needle" is what Arya called her sword.

What I'm more surprised by is that there isn't a street named after Daenerys or Jon Snow, but, that doesn't mean there won't be one soon.

According to MySanAntonio.com- getting the names to these streets is on a first come first serve basis; all the developers needed to make sure was that no other street in the county had the same name. A consultant on the developing team told MySA that the staff at Chesar Homes, are big "Game of Thrones" fans so it was an easy decision to name the streets after the hit show.
