Remember The Alamo
Today is a very important day in Texas history. 182 years ago today the Alamo fell to the Mexican Army in one of the battles for Texas Independence.
March 6,1836, just four days after Texas Declared Independence from Mexico, the Alamo mission fell to the Mexican Army killing all 187 defenders inside, including, Davy Crockett, Jim Bowie, and more.
The Alamo as you still stands in the heart of San Antonio, Texas and is visited by many tourist daily.
Most Texas I think have a picture of themselves outside of the Alamo. If you are a history buff, this is definitely a place you should visit!
