I tell  you all the time, if it is going to happen, it's going to happen to me. I swear I can't make this stuff up. If it's something crazy, it's going to happen, it's going to happen  to me. For example on our last cruise, I got bit by a monkey. Yes, you read that right I got bit by a monkey. We were doing the touristy thing and taking pictures with the darn thing and it bit my thumb. It didn't break the skin thank goodness. That is just one example of something crazy, but yesterday might be the wildest.

Yesterday morning my phone went off with a notification from the Next Door all with the title "walkers be aware." I immediately opened it. I thought there might be a creeper in the neighborhood or something awful like that. Instead, it was a picture of a javelina hog that was running loose in the neighborhood. I thought wow, that's crazy. About 9:50  yesterday morning my phone rang and it was my neighbor, who was informing me that they had trapped the javelina in my back yard. My gate is down because I am having a new gate built, it's just not ready yet. Anyway! So they trap the javelina and I need to come to the house so I can meet with animal control. These three  men get out with ropes and lasso type things and I'm like good luck Part of the fence is down between my neighbor and I so the little piggy was running back and forth between the two yards . My yard is separated by a fence so I have a front part and a back part. My neighbors and I were rubber necking as the animal control dangerously trying to catch this thing. At one point and time the thing was running crazy and ran head first into my metal building he also almost took out one of the animal control guys. Finally they caught it. I asked what they were going to do with and they said they were going to take it out in the country and released it.

Thank you to Midland Animal control for getting Pumba out of my yard.
