It's never too early to start thinking about the fact that every single child should have a wonderful Christmas. There are those less fortunate out there who need a helping hand--and the folks at Soft Suds, along with Samaritan's Purse--are making sure of just that... That they get the help they need to brighten a child's holiday. How can you help? Come to the Soft Suds location on Wadley in Midland Saturday 11/6 and donate. Let's get tons of shoeboxes filled with goodies for the kids that need them most! It's the 4th Annual Shoebox Packing event... Last year around 500 boxes were filled, this year they're trying to reach a new goal of 800. But they can't do it without the generous support and hearts of the people right here in West Texas!
The event is taking place from 9 am till 6 pm at 4300 W. Wadley Ave. Special guests include Soft Sud's very own SHAMMY, as well as Slap Jack from the Jackalopes. And of course--Santa will be there too! Come donate or help pack shoeboxes! They will have food trucks there so if you're hungry and need a break you can grab a bite, and there'll be great coffee out there too. Meet Gunner from Lonestar 92.3-he will be there broadcasting from 11 am till 1 pm too with prizes! Come by, say hi, help out the kids, and feel great this holiday season knowing you made a difference!
