Odessa Now Has A Mask Mandate
As of midnight last night the city of Odessa now has a mask mandate. Mayor David Turner held a press conference that the mask mandate would go in to effect at midnight November 25th.
The mandate will require all business, who must now operate at 50% capacity, to post signs requiring masks. If requirements are not followed, a warning will be issued for the first offense and a $250 fine can be given after that.
Mask up Odessa.
The Midland City Council recently voted down a mask mandate but have put the 50% occupancy back in place. Business including restaurants can only have a 50% occupancy.
