Not a smart idea

A couple in Minnesota wanted to get more viewers to their Youtube channel.

A prank gone bad.  Hard to be sympathetic.  They needed more productive things to do with their time.  This couple in Minnesota saw it in a movie and tried it out for themselves.  Will a book stop a bullet?  Check out the video link.
