No more spankings in Midland Schools
I have no vested interest in the subject, as I have no kids, but I assumed corporal punishment had been removed from the schools?
At Monday's school board meeting, the policy on Corporal punishment was changed. Apparently, if the parent's signed a waiver, their kid could received punishment by an approved "designee".

The whole thing sounds so archaic. I remember back in the day a teacher sending me out into the hall to "collect dust".
