“No” means go ask someone else.
I this article, Darius Rucker said he has received 5000 rejection letters in his life (estimate, of course). "No" just means, go ask someone else.
Life is good!
I couldn't even venture a guess as to how many people have told me "no, no you aren't capable, good enough, have the skills, will ever be able to do that. Even now, people I work with people who question me on ridiculous things. Even when my resume reads like a novel and theirs is a sticky note. Most of that is due to prejudice. Me being "different".
