I found a list of the top 10 jobs for 2018 where you don't need a degree.
I didn't really think the wages were that great. Among the top ten, Food Service Manager at close to $20/hour. Would that be a shift manager, say...at McDonald's? $14/hour as a Pharmacy tech. I think that job should pay more.

The basin has the lowest unemployment in the US, I am told. There are likely a lot of high paying jobs here that don't require a degree.
