WandaVision ended on a cliffhanger, with Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch using her newly enhanced powers to search for her missing sons. And here they are, in the new trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of MadnessOf course, the boys could just be a figment of her imagination, or a nightmare, or even variants from another reality. But they’re here.

Also present in the new trailer is what looks like a full-on Marvel Zombie, like the ones who headlined several different comic book series for Marvel all through the early 2000s, and who got their own spotlight episode of the Disney+ series What If...? last summer. And who better to direct a movie with zombies in it than Sam Raimi, the creator of the Evil Dead franchise? This really is the ideal material to merge his skills in horror with his experience directing the first Spider-Man trilogy.

The new trailer also shows an evil variant of Doctor Strange, who has a third eye growing out of his head, which is another Raimi-esque flourish. Remember when Bruce Campbell had an extra eye growing out of his shoulder in Army of Darkness? Take a look at the new trailer below:
