So here we are--a month into the vaccine being available in the Permian Basin at various locations... Are you one who's already gotten it? And if so, how did it go for you? Any reaction? Maybe you have no plans to go and get it. Or maybe you're like me and you WANT to go get it, but you have reservations... I have friends who are in the medical profession who've gotten it and have been fine; but I also have other friends in the profession who've gotten it and had reactions--even ended up in the hospital over it. So I guess it's kind of like the virus itself--it has different effects on different people.

I'm on the same page with everyone--we all want this to be over. We all want to get back to life and the freedoms we once had just a year ago. I've heard some "Experts" say that we will NEVER go back to not having to wear masks when it public or a group... While others have said that one day we will return to the old normal. And that's been the problem with this entire thing, for me, since it started. No one really has the right answers. Plus--you also have those who won't listen anyway who will still gather and not take the necessary precautions to help stop the numbers from rising.

I have also heard that agencies will start to eventually require that you have had the vaccine in order to be able to do certain things--like fly. So ultimately I'll end up probably getting it. It's just a bit scary seeing and hearing the stories of reactions. But truth be told, I'm sure even the flu vaccine has the same type of thing. In case you're like me and you're about to hop off the fence and go get your vaccine--here's the latest from our partner News West 9 on how and where to go to get it:
