More Kid Fun! Texas Is Getting A New Theme Park
Last fall we broke the great news that Universal Theme Parks was opening a location in the Metroplex and now it seems as if they aren't the only one. Like Univeral's new park, this park will be geared to more of a younger audience.
Merlin Entertainment, who also operates LEGOLAND and SEA LIFE Aquariums announced they would be opening a new park in North Richland Hills. This will be the second of its kind to open in the United States. This will be a Peppa Pig Theme Park. Their first Peppa Pig Theme Park opened in central Florida back in 2022.
The park will be fully immersive with rides, shows, interactive attractions, and more. The park theme will be based on the British TV show, Peppa Pig, which is geared toward preschool-aged children. It is set to open in 2024 and will be near NRH20 Water Park.
According to KDFW Fox 4, Matt Proulx, Vice President of Location Based Entertainment for Hasbro issued the following statement:
"The success of the Peppa Pig Theme Park has been phenomenal, and we are excited to embark on the journey again with our friends at Merlin to bring another park to the city of North Richland Hills, TX,
