If you are like me, your vehicle needs a wash this weekend. In fact, I thought I would take care of that this Friday afternoon when I noticed something...car washes are packed already heading into the weekend.

I literally hit up 3 drive-thru car washes and noticed that the lines were long here in the Permian Basin.

THE DAYS AFTER BAD WEATHER TREND TOWARDS LONG LINES

Makes sense right? A day or two after bad weather is when people usually wash their vehicles. And, with the rain and hail, we got the other day, well most vehicles here in the Permian Basin,  need some car wash love.

AND IF THE WEATHER FORECAST CALLS FOR SUNNY DAYS...

Yes, if the forecast is looking good for the next 3 to 4 days, people seem more eager to get their vehicles washed. Well, yes we have awesome weather forecasted for the next 4 days.

HOW COLD IS TOO COLD TO WASH YOUR CAR

According to this article.....

Car care and maintenance is a whole endeavor on its own. Aside from knowing what to use and how to wash your car, you will also have to know when to wash your car. In this regard, a common question among car users is “How cold is too cold to wash your car?” or “When is it too cold to wash your car?”.It is especially important when winter and the cold season arrive. The short answer is: It is too cold for a car wash if the temperature is near freezing or freezing. Specifically, that is anywhere from and below 34 degrees Fahrenheit.

And, of course, if you want to skip the lines you can always wash your vehicle by hand or call on a mobile wash.

Here's hoping you have a great weekend and a clean vehicle....!
