Every Wednesday we feature a different pet that needs a new forever home here in the Basin from Lonestar Sanctuary For Animals. Sometimes it's a dog, sometimes it's a cat. They haven't had any guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, or snakes---yet. But you never know!

Normally we only tell you about one animal a week but today we get to tell you about three!  Andy, Bobo, and Howard are the three remaining puppies out of the original eight of the Pit/Lab litter over at Lone Star Sanctuary For Animals!  They have watched as all of their siblings got adopted one by one while they remained at the Sanctuary.  It's unclear why these beautiful puppies have been overlooked, but we are hoping to get the word out to get them the loving home they each deserve.

Let us begin with Andy!  He is 20 weeks old, very adventurous and active!  He loves people and playing with other dogs.  Andy also enjoys his pool and is good when getting a bath.  He would make a great family dog, especially for school-age children, or for an active single person.  His only restriction is he needs his adopter to have a house with a fenced-in yard.

Next is Bobo!  Bobo is a staff favorite!  He came to the Sanctuary injured with a large bite on his face that quickly turned into an abscess.  Once healed they discovered that he wasn't opening his mouth all the way.  The Vet confirmed that his jaw was at one point broken and has healed wrong.  Right now he is eating and drinking normally but could require further medical intervention in the future.  Bobo has a very sweet temperament and loves people!  He is very intelligent and has already learned to sit, shake, and give kisses!  He also enjoys playing with his littermates and the office dogs at the Sanctuary.  Bobo is eager to please and would make a wonderful addition to anyone's home.  Like Andy, Bobo would need his adopter to have a house with a fenced-in yard.

Last but not least is Howard!  Howard has a sweet unassuming nature and loves to cuddle!  He is fantastic with children and everyone he meets!  All he wants is for someone to give him attention and love on him!  His only requirement is a house with a fenced-in yard.  If you are looking to add a new dog to your home, look no further than any one of these dogs!
