Mac's BBQ in Midland has just announced the return of the MAC's St. Patrick's Day Music Fest in Downtown Midland.

Before COVID changed everything Mac's BBQ in Midland gave us an epic St. Patrick's Day Music Fest in Downtown Midland. Thousands of people were in attendance. Everyone young and old came out. Families brought out picnic blankets and lawn chairs, kids were riding in wagons, and fun was had by all.  Mac's BBQ is ready to do it again with a huge lineup.

The Mac's St. Patrick's Day Music Fest will be Saturday, March 19th, at Centennial Park. This will be an all-ages event. The event will hot five great bands including, headliner Robert Earl Keene, who recently announced his upcoming retirement, Josh Abbott Band, William Clark Green, John Bauman, and The Stateline Band.

General admission tickets will $50.00. Children 10 and under are free.  Sponsorships are also available here!

Something new added to this year's event will be a washer tournament. The entry fee for a two-man team is $100. A concert ticket will also be required to participate in the tournament.

If you are a Robert Earl Keen fan, you better be at this show because this will be one of his last. REK made the announcement on January 15th that his days of live shows would be coming to an end:

"It’s with a mysterious concoction of joy and sadness that I want to tell you as of September 4th, 2022, I will no longer tour and perform publicly," Keen wrote. "I plan to continue to write songs, interview a wide variety of celebrities and contributors for our Americana Podcast. I also embrace this as an opportunity to further support the musical community and the ever-expanding body of young talent on our horizon."  The Boot
