Looking To Party ? Here’s Where To Celebrate Mardi Gras In The Basin

It's Fat Tuesday or in french, it's Mardi Gras, a day designated to party. Mardi Gras is actually the day before the season of lent starts, a day to indulge in things before you give them up for lent.

JImbo's Garage

Today from 4-9 JImbo's will be celebrating Fat Tuesday with a shrimp and crawfish boil and bash.  They will also have happy hour from 4-8 pm that includes 2-yard Mardi Gras cocktails with a souvenir cup! No cover until 9 pm.  Jimbo's is located on JBS, just south of University in Odessa.

Rockin Rodeo 

Tuesdays are always a big night at Rockin Rodeo but this Tuesday night is even bigger! Everyone 21 and up can enjoy 10-cent longnecks until 10 pm. There will even a $1000 Queen of the Beads contest! Rockin Rodeo is located at 4400 North Big Spring Street in Midland.

The Blue Door 

The Blue Door in Midland, off of Loop 250 near Chili's is celebrating by serving fresh-made hurricanes for $6 all night.

Eccentric Brewing Co

King Cake Refresher Release, Eccentric Brewing Co is releasing its latest brew. This event is actually on Wednesday, so you can keep the party going. There will be live music from Churchwell.

Where ever you decide to partake in Mardi Gras festivities, please make sure to drink responsibly and don't drink and drive. Remember the colors of Mardi Gras are green, purple, and gold. So dress accordingly and be sure to collect all the beads you can!
