Local Streets With Very Odd Names
When you see this street sign you might think it's located in the Middle East, when it's actually located right here in West Texas. You will find 1111 Isis Court Pl in Kermit Texas.
Although it doesn't mean what you think. Isis is actually an Egyptian goddess. She was on of the most important Egyptian goddesses. Her name is actually a Greek form of an ancient Egyptian word meaning throne.
So, just like in life you can't alway jump to conclusions. Because when I first saw this, I thought what the what! Then the person that took the picture explained to me what it meant and then it gave it a whole new meaning.
