Local Couple Creates An App To Help You Find Your Favorite Food Truck
We all have our favorite food trucks we like to hit up here in the Permian Basin but sometimes they aren't so easy to find and they all have different hours. A local couple has essentially made it easier for all of us with a new App called StreetBound.
StreetBound is a new App that will help you locate your favorite food trucks, their menus and their hours.
Scott and Marissa Rossell are the creators behind the new app. It all started when they having a night in and decided they wanted tacos from a taco truck and finally found them 45 minutes later when they were about to close. So they decided to create an app that would help everyone out.
So how does Streetbound work?
"Essentially, it’s (StreetBound) a GPS locator, and it’s going to have all the information that
you need when you’re looking for good food,” Marissa said. “We wanted to be more customer-focused but as we talked to the vendors and got to know them, we realized this could be a really cool tool to help promote vendors,” Marissa said. “And something they could use on a daily basis.” “It will be all in one place, separated by categories -- really easy to have everything in the palm of your hand,” MRT
According to the Midland Reporter Telegram:The mobile app will be available online Wednesday to food truck vendors; the public will gain access in early November. The application will be available for download in any phone’s application store.
