The 88th Annual Lea County Fair and PRCA Rodeo. The Lea County Fair and PRCA Pro Rodeo will run August 2nd-10th at the Lea County Fairgrounds in Lovington, New Mexico.

The fair kicks off on Friday, August 2nd, with the Hispanic Heritage Celebration with live music and events. Live music that night will feature Los Tigres Del Norte and Erik y Grupo Massore.

Music will resume on Tuesday, August 6th  with the Bellamy Brothers.

Tickets go on sale June 24th. The cost will be $10 for anyone over the age of 12 and $5 for anyone under 12. The $10 tickets will get you into all of the fair activities and the concerts. So yes, you can see each artist for just $10. No lawn chairs will be allowed in the concert area.

Your ticket also covers admission to the PRCA Pro Rodeo! There will be rodeo performances starting on Tuesday, the 6th, and running through Saturday night the 10th. There will also be a local team roping on July 28th. Other rodeo activities include mutton bustin' and a special rodeo.

Other activities you can enjoy at the fair are the Arts & Crafts Showcase, carnival, concerts, Xtreme Bulls event, PRCA Rodeos, Pioneer Iron Chef contest, Livestock Shows, Mutton Bustin’, Fiddler’s Contest, Junior Livestock Sale, Yucca Building exhibits including 4H, Open Youth, Flower Show, Farm & Garden and creative arts, Special Rodeo, commercial vendors and the best fair food!

Carnival rides and any food purchases will not be covered with admission. Those purchases will be separate.
