“LANDMAN” Is Looking For Extras This Thursday In Odessa

The new series "Land Man" is based on a podcast called "Boomtown."  Deadline sums it up like this: “Land Man is set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas and is a modern-day tale of fortune-seeking in the world of oil rigs. The series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy, and our geopolitics."

A life all of us in West Texas know all too well. From that description, it kind of sounds like 2016 here in the Permian Basin.

Who doesn't want to be in a Taylor Sheridan show? You can now! You will have the opportunity this Thursday to be an extra in one of the episodes. LANDMAN series will be filming at Permian High's Spring Game!

Brock/Allen Casting is looking for persons 17 and older for filming this Thursday, May 16th. They will be shooting at Ratliff Stadium in Odessa. You will be portraying football fans in the stands of a game. They are looking for people who will be available for at least 8 hours. The pay is $11.25 an hour ($90 for 8 hours). They will pay overtime if it takes longer than 8 hours. Travel and lodging will not be provided. They are looking to cast about 500 people. They will start filming about 2pm.
