Labor Day Weekend In The Permian Basin
Big Labor Day Weekend Plans? The weather will certainly hold up for a weekend of fun and sun in West Texas as temps are supposed to be in the mid to upper 90's with sunshine and no rain in sight. Definitely a great chance to soak in some time at the pool! I plan on keeping it pretty low key for myself. Getting the garage organized and putting up new shelves so that the rest of the stuff we moved here with can find a place against the wall. It's my mission to be able to fit TWO cars in the garage after this weekend. If you're road tripping this weekend--be safe. Make sure the supply case in the trunk is replenished so that in case you need something you have it. Stop by the drug store and check the first aid kit. Throw some blankets in the back too. Oh--and FYI--the #1 song to crank up on a road trip according to Spotify is "Sweet Home Alabama". It's in your head now, isn't it? You just sang that in your head... You're welcome.
If by chance you're sticking around the area--there are some things happening you can take advantage of this weekend for fun:
