Kid Friendly Restaurants In The Midland For Holiday Dinners

It's holiday time so many of you will be gathering with your families and probably at some point, Let's talk kid-friendly restaurants, this is not something I keep an I out for but I know it's a big deal for many of you. I follow a group on Facebook where someone asked about the best kid-friendly restaurants in Midland. They weren't talking about your usual fast food places or typical children's go-tos like McDonald's, Chucky Cheese, or Mr. Gatti's. We are talking about sitting down where you can be comfortable taking your children.

1. Blue Sky Texas

Blue Sky Texas is located on Loop 250 across from Bed Bath & Beyond and offers a very family-friendly atmosphere.  Their kid's menu offers, mini burgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese, hamburgers/cheeseburgers, and chicken bites. For sides they offer, fries, tots, jello, or a fruit cup. They also have an outdoor patio. According to Facebook user Darci, Blue Sky Texas has a sandbox play area on the patio.

2. Juji's Kitchen

Juji's Kitchen is located in the Claydesta Building on Big Spring Street. Breakfast is served until 10:30 am Monday through Friday and all day on Saturday. They are open until 2 pm on weekdays and until 3 pm on Saturdays.  They offer an amazing breakfast menu and for lunch various options of burgers, sandwiches, and burritos. But the most interesting part is some of their tables offer swings as seats and there is a jungle to explore.

3. Mac's BBQ and Catering

Mac's BBQ is located at 2400 W Indiana Ave in Midland. Mac's offers tons of indoor or outdoor seating. They also have a playground outside for the kid's to enjoy and live music on Thursdays. Their menu offers all of your BBQ favorites, burgers, and chicken. If you haven't tried their mac and cheese make sure you do.

4. Rooster's Backyard

Roosters Backyard is located on 307 in Greenwood. They have tons of indoor or outdoor seating. They have arcade games inside and games to play outside. If you love a good game of cornhole, this is your place. They also have live music from time to time and a full kitchen.
