The legendary  Dallas Cowboy Jay Novacek will be in Odessa this afternoon at The Cellar, located at 5100 E University.

Jay Novacek played in the NFL from 1985-1995. He played with St Louis/Phoenix Cardinals from 1985-1989 and then he joined the Dallas Cowboys in 1990. He played with the Cowboys until he retired in 1995. He was elected to the pro-from 1991-1995. Jay played with Emmit, Troy, and Michael and was part of the amazing team in the '90s that brought Dallas three Super Bowl wins.  He was inducted into the National College Football Hall of Fame in 2008.

Now that Jay no longer plays football, he decided to make his own whiskey. It bears the number 84, which of course is the number he wore during his playing days. The whiskey itself is also 84 proof. It's considered a small batch bourbon craft whiskey.

As a whiskey drinker, I can say that I approve. The last time Jay was here, he let us sample some and it was might fine. It is very affordable.

We all know plenty of people who are Dallas Cowboy fans and this would make a great Christmas present for.
